Important Announcements

  • Pennsylvania Department of Education - Telephone Maintenance 

    The Pennsylvania Department of Education – Division of Food and Nutrition will experience intermittent telephone service interruptions between Tuesday, February 26 and Wednesday, February 27 while maintenance is being performed. We appreciate your patience during this time.


    For all participants of the Child Nutrition Programs: 
    This message is to remind all sponsors of the Child Nutrition Programs that effective March 1, 2019, all claims, in final, must be submitted and be in “Accepted” status, by the 60th day from the last day of the month being claimed.  No revisions may be made after the 60th day. 

    Therefore, the December 2018 original claim for reimbursement and any revisions to the paid December 2018 claim, must be submitted by March 1, 2019.

System Maintenance

  • PEARS will be unavailable each Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 8:00pm (EDT) for regular maintenance.

Resetting Your Password

  • When resetting your password, please remember that your new password must contain the following:

    - Minimum of 8 characters long

    - Contain one special character

    - Contain at least one UPPERCASE letter

    - Contain at least one numeric character
